(Travel to Europe) Day 11 - Firenze, ItalyFebruary 26, 2024 Cupola Inside of the cupola in Firenze. It is hard to look at it because it is painted so high. I cannot imagine how much more difficult it have been for the person who drew it. The bell tower seen from the cupola (left) and the cupola seen from the bell tower (right). Both were hard to climb, but it was a great opportunity to see the whole of Firenze. Museo dell’Opera del Duomo di Firenze The original door of Duomo displayed in the museum next to the Duomo (left). The size of the door and splendor of the decoration are overwhelming. The patches that fell when the Duomo was damaged were also stored (right). Changes in the appearance of the Duomo over time. It becomes more fancy and sophisticated.
