(Travel to Europe) Day 8 - Milano, ItalyFebruary 23, 2024 Duomo The Duomo, starting point of a trip in Milano. Duomo means the cathedral that represents the city. Duomo roof tour. It was good to see the decorations closer. The impressive thing was that each detailed decoration had a different pattern that are independent of each other (Right). A scale model of the Duomo. Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology There was a Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology nearby on the map, so I visited there. Actually, I didn't have any travel plans in Italy. The courtyard of the museum (left) and rest area (right). I recommend to visit and view the remaining exhibits in person. Sforzesco Castle A castle located in the center of Milano. There were traces of water flowing around the castle. The Arc de Triomph, Arco della Pace, behind the castle. The sunset is reflected on the marble, creating a beautiful appearance. A small concert was held in the hostel lobby. This hostel is very active.
