(Travel to Europe) Day 1 - Zurich, Switzerland

Rhine Falls

Landscape of Switzerland from the window. The first place to visit is the Rhine Falls.

At Rhine Falls. The height of the waterfall was not as high as I thought, but it was very wide. The eroded rocks in the center of the waterfall is impressive. There are the observatory below the waterfall and people sightseeing on boats.

At the observatory. This post is right in front of the waterfall, so we can feel the mist on face by get closer to the railing. The speed of water flows is quite scary.

A part of the castle above the Rhine Falls. Although there is a contrast between the large structure and the small car, it feels quite harmonious.

Zurich

Downtown of Zurich. It was a peaceful feeling, a little different from the busy scenes of the other European cities I had experienced. There are many swans in this place.

Street performance in front of the restaurant I stopped by for dinner. I don't know what the event was, but people on the street were able to participate freely.

The Opernhaus Zurich in front of the lake (left) and the library I came across while taking a walk (right). Both the inside and the outside of these were very beautiful.

Posters for art museum promotion. I decided to visit the Kunsthaus while I am in Zurich.

A night view of Zurich from Polyterrace ETH. In the cathedrals (Fraumünster and Grossmünster, the bells ring at 15-minute intervals, but in the evening hours a different bell sound was heard than usual.
